Sizing Fit & Medical Consideration Guides

Sizing, Fit & Medical Consideration Guides

Comfort • Dignity • Independence

Finding the right fit is essential for daily comfort, mobility, and safe dressing. Our Sizing & Medical Fit Guide is designed for Seniors, Veterans, caregivers, and rehabilitation teams who want clothing that supports independence with ease and dignity.

1. How to Measure (Senior- & Caregiver-Friendly Method)

Measure With Confidence — Or With a Caregiver

For the most accurate sizing, use a soft measuring tape. If mobility is limited, we recommend measuring with a caregiver or family member.

Basic Measurements Needed
  • Chest/Bust: Measure around the fullest part

  • Waist: Measure around natural waistline

  • Hips: Measure around the widest area

  • Inseam / Seated Inseam:

    • Standing users: Measure from inner thigh to ankle

    • Wheelchair or seated users: Measure from hip crease to the footrest

  • Arm Length: Shoulder to wrist

  • Shoulder Width: From shoulder bone to shoulder bone

Caregiver Tip

Use the “two-finger rule” — clothing should allow two fingers between the body and fabric for comfortable mobility.

2. Adaptive Fit Guidance

Every body is unique. Our adaptive designs support mobility challenges and dressing assistance.

Magnetic & Velcro Closures

  • Arthritis

  • Limited hand strength

If using AFOs, braces, or orthotics:
  • Pick “Orthotic-Friendly / Extra-Depth”

  • Size up if inserting thick custom supports

Wheelchair users:

6. Caregiver Dressing Guide Summary

For Dressing Assistance:
